Royal Worcester Figurine,Sister University College Hospital
A Royal Worcester Figurine from a series of Four featuring Nursing Sisters of English Hospitals. These were modelled by Ruth Van Ruyckevelt in the late 1950s and early 1960s in a limited edition of 500 of each figure. This example is 78/500 of the Nursing Sister from University College Hospital in London.It stands at approximately 8 and a half inches tall with plinth and portrays a Sister in dark blue uniform with white apron,complete with Belt and buckle,Nurses League badge and pleated cap.She is holding a Clip Board with Observation chart(the recordings are even visible on the chart) In excellent condition with no chips,cracks or flaws
It comes in its original box with certificate

A Royal Worcester Figurine from a series of Four featuring Nursing Sisters of English Hospitals. These were modelled by Ruth Van Ruyckevelt in the late 1950s and early 1960s in a limited edition of 500 of each figure. This example is 330/500 of the Nursing Sister from the London Hospital.It features a seated Sister in a chair adorned with the Hospital badge to the rear.It is approximately 6 and a half inches inches tall with plinth and portrays a Sister in light blue uniform with Leg of Mutton Sleeves,complete with Nurses badge and pleated cap with tails,she is holding a book.
It is missing it's box and certificate.Condition is very good,the only damage appears to be to the tip of the red bookmark which is missing.Other than that there are no chips,cracks or blemishes

Another of these extremely desirable and scarce Royal Worcester Nursing Sister Figurines .These were modelled by Ruth Van Ruyckevelt in the late 1950s and early 1960s in a limited edition of 500 of each figure. This example is 246/500 of the Nursing Sister from the Nightingale School of Nursing of St Thomas' in London.It features a seated Sister in a pink striped chair adorned with the Hospital badge to the rear.It is approximately 6 and a half inches inches tall with plinth and portrays a Sister in spotted blue uniform with white apron,complete with Belt and buckle,Nurses badge and pleated cap with bows,she is holding a book. In excellent condition with no chips,cracks or flaws

Royal Doulton Figurine,The Nurse
A porcelaine figurine produced for Royal Doulton in their Classics Collection from 2000,numbered HN 4287.Modelled by Adrian Hughes,The Nurse features a classic portrayal of a nurse wearing her blue uniform with white apron over which she is wearing a cape with red crossed straps.She has the look of a nurse from the 50s or 60s travelling between her Nurses Home and Hospital.
Approximately 220mm tall.The condition is generally very good,however there is a firing fault which has resulted in a small area of roughness to the front of the apron which I have pictured.The price has been altered to reflect this. Please email me if you require further pictures,thanks

Royal Worcester Figurine,British Red Cross Society VAD Member
One of a series of four Limited edition figurines of Nursing Sisters,produced by the Royal Worcester Factory in the 1960s.Modelled by Ruth and Raymond Van Ruyckevelt in editions of 750 they are now eagerly sought by collectors.This figure is the fourth in the series produced in 1969,the Nursing Sister of the Voluntary Aid Detatchment.
The Figure is set on a small plinth and stands approximately 220mm tall.She wears a light blue dress with badges over which is her white apron with Red Cross and belt.She wears a white cap ,also with a red cross to the front.She is carrying a small medical bag.Condition is very good with no chips,cracks or flaws.It is marked to to the base as pictured.It is minus it's box and certificate but still a scarce object.Please contact me if you require any further information.

Guy's Hospital Nurses League,Centenary Cache Pot
A china/porcelaine Trinket box/cache pot produced to celebrate the centenary of the Guy's Hospital Nurses League in 2000. The pot base has a gold rim to the base bearing the dates 1900-2000.The separate lid bears the emblem of the league featured on their badge,with the motto Dare Quam Accipere-It is better to Give Than to Receive.The pot measures 35mm tall by 57mm wide.The base carries the makers marks for the Pyramid Pottery Stoke on Trent.Very good condition with no chips cracks or flaws.

Bisque Victorian Nurse Figurine
A scarce 6 inch high figurine of a Victorian Nurse.She is attired in the uniform of the period,namely a Floor length Navy blue dress with white apron and cuffs,frilled cap with strings and red cross armband.She wears a nurses chatelaine at her belt,containing the nursing implements.No makers mark but there is a model number 1738 to the rear.

An exclusive Royal Doulton Character Jug from their International Collectors Club, D 7216 Nurse.This features a Nurse from the Queen Alexandra's Royal Navy Nurses Service (QARNNS)with distinctive headdress, rank badges and medal ribbon.The handle is formed from a naval nurses belt and buckle featuring the fouled anchor design.
