Coalport Figurine,NurseThe Hospital For Sick Children London.An extremely rare Coalport figurine of a nurse, issued for the commemoration of the Golden Jubilee of the Nurses League of the Hospital for Sick Children in 1987. One of a limited edition of 500, which rarely come onto the market, this is numbered 104.In excellent condition with no cracks, chips or flaws.It is minus its certificate or box.it stands at just over 8 in/21 cm tall.
Royal Doulton Figurine,Queen Alexandra Royal Naval NurseA porcelain figurine produced for Royal Doulton in their Classics Collection from 2004,numbered HN 4596.Modelled by Martyn Alcock,The Queen Alexandra Nurse features a classic portrayal of a Royal Naval nurse wearing her blue uniform with red cuffs and white apron.Over this she is wearing a tippet cape with red piping and rank badge.She has a belt with silver naval buckle and wears the veil with crossed A's in blue.

Coalport Figurine,Staff Nurse Manchester Royal Infirmary.A limited edition porcelain figurine manufactured by Coalport for the Manchester Royal Infirmary Nurses Fellowship in 1995, in an edition of only 400.It features a Staff Nurse in the traditional uniform of the MRI worn before 1972.This features the cap with strings, apron and badge.Brown shoes were worn.The green dress features three stripes on the sleeve as worn in the 1950s, along with a green belt.She is carrying a green folder which would have carried her hospital and GNC certificates.

Bisque Military Nurse Figurine,Boer War Period,"Devotion"A scarce 9 inch high figurine of a Boer War Military Nurse.She is attired in a representation of uniform of the period,namely a Floor length Khaki dress with white apron and cuffs,frilled cap with tails and red cross armband.She wears a nurses chatelaine at her belt,containing the nursing implements.The piece is coloured to the front only as it was designed to stand on a mantlepiece against a wall.No makers mark but there is a model number 3410 to the rear. (There was a companion piece to this one of a British Boer War soldier)

Royal Worcester Figurine,Sister University College Hospital A Royal Worcester Figurine from a series of Four featuring Nursing Sisters of English Hospitals. These were modelled by Ruth Van Ruyckevelt in the late 1950s and early 1960s in a limited edition of 500 of each figure. This example is 151/500 of the Nursing Sister from University College Hospital in London.It stands at approximately 8 and a half inches tall with plinth and portrays a Sister in dark blue uniform with white apron,complete with Belt and buckle,Nurses League badge and pleated cap.She is holding a Clip Board with Observation chart(the recordings are even visible on the chart).Condition is very good with no chips, cracks or flaws.It is complete with it's original box and certificate.
These figurines are increasingly rare and sought after,particularly in their original boxes with certificates and price reflects my purchase cost.
