Coalport Figurine,Sister Lawrence St Mary's Hospital Paddington
A limited edition Coalport figurine of Sister Lawrence from St Mary's Hospital Paddington 1895-1900.This was issued for the 60th Anniversary of the Hospital's Nurses League,in 1982,in an edition of 1500, this figure being numbered 39 .Standing at approximately 210mm the nurse wears an Edwardian style full length uniform with white apron,sleeve protectors and frilled cap with bows.In very good condition, missing certificate but with original box.

Royal Worcester Figurine,Staff Nurse Guy's Hospital
A Rare Limited Edition Figurine of a 1960s Staff Nurse from Guy's Hospital in London.It was commissioned by the Guy's Hospital Nurses' League to commemorate the end of the School of Nursing in 1995. All 750 were quickly sold out by the time of their issue in 1996.The detail accurately reflects the uniform and includes eight flukes in the nurses cap,the correct colour of uniform and cape and black lace up shoes(that do not resemble Doc Martins!) She wears the badge of the Nurses' League on her uniform and stands on a plinth with the hospital shield to the front and the motto "Dare Quam Accipere"-It is Better to give than Receive, on both sides.
The figure is in excellent condition.It stands 225mm high.The Base is inscribed with the details and Limited Edition 198 of 750.I'm afraid the price reflects my purchase cost and rarity
Note I do have a glass dome display cover for this item if required at a small extra cost.Please ask for details

Royal Doulton Figurine,Queen Alexandra Royal Naval Nurse
A porcelain figurine produced for Royal Doulton in their Classics Collection from 2004,numbered HN 4596.Modelled by Martyn Alcock,The Queen Alexandra Nurse features a classic portrayal of a Royal Naval nurse wearing her blue uniform with red cuffs and white apron.Over this she is wearing a tippet cape with red piping and rank badge.She has a belt with silver naval buckle and wears the veil with crossed A's in blue.
This is numbered 454 of a limited edition of 2500.
In excellent condition.Height 19cm

A scarce limited edition porcelain figurine manufactured by Coalport for the Manchester Royal Infirmary Nurses Fellowship in 1995, in an edition of only 150.It features a Sister in the traditional uniform of the MRI wearing her cap with strings.She holds a folded cloak over her arm
A lovely and scarce figurine, it stands approximate 8 and a half inches/20cm tall.In excellent condition with no chips cracks or flaws.
I am also listing the companion piece of the Staff Nurse of the Manchester Royal Infirmary.

A limited edition porcelain figurine manufactured by Coalport for the Manchester Royal Infirmary Nurses Fellowship in 1995, in an edition of only 400.It features a Staff Nurse in the traditional uniform of the MRI worn before 1972.This features the cap with strings, apron and badge.Brown shoes were worn.The green dress features three stripes on the sleeve as worn in the 1950s, along with a green belt.She is carrying a green folder which would have carried her hospital and GNC certificates.
A lovely and scarce figurine, it stands approximate 8 and a half inches/20cm tall.In excellent condition with no chips cracks or flaws.
I am also listing the companion piece of the Nursing Sister of the Manchester Royal Infirmary.

State Registered Nurse 1924,Coalport limited Edition Figurine
A Limited Edition Coalport figurine of a State Registered Nurse in the outdoor uniform of 1924.Approximately 21cm tall it is numbered 216 in an edition of 1500.The nurse can be seen with her pale blue uniform being visible beneath a navy blue coat with pale blue trim.Her hat also a pale blue band which would have had the General Nursing Council badge of Hygeia to the front.In very good condition with no chips ,cracks or flaws.It is numbered to the base and states that it was" Modelled and Decorated by Hand" I believe that it was produced in 1984 and is an increasingly rare and popular figure.It is missing its box and certificate

A popular porcelaine figurine produced for Royal Doulton in their Classics Collection from 2000,numbered HN 4287.Modelled by Adrian Hughes,The Nurse features a classic portrayal of a nurse wearing her blue uniform with white apron over which she is wearing a cape with red crossed straps.She has the look of a nurse from the 50s or 60s travelling between her Nurses Home and Hospital.

One of a pair of Porcelain Nurse figurines that were commissioned for the Nurses League of the Royal Victoria Hospital Belfast.This one features the Sister in her distinctive Red uniform with white starched Apron and frilly cap.On the apron to the right breast she wears the badge of the RVH School of Nursing.She stands on a circular plinth.The whole figure stands approximately 8 and a half inches/215mm tall.To the base it is marked for Francesca Fine Bone China,"Sister" Commissioned by League of Nurses,Hoggs Model Number 5.It carries the signature of M Young 91( I presume the artist but possibly the model?).A rare figure in very good condition with no chips,flaws or blemishes.

One of a pair of Porcelain Nurse figurines that were commissioned for the Nurses League of the Royal Victoria Hospital Belfast.This one features the Staff Nurse in her Blue uniform with white starched Apron and veil.On the apron to the right breast she wears the badge of the RVH School of Nursing.She has one hand on a hospital bed locker on which is a water jug towel and book/bible.It stands on an oval plinth.The whole figure stands approximately 9 inches tall.To the base it is marked for Francesca Fine Bone China,"Staff Nurse" Commissioned by League of Nurses,Hoggs Model Number 596.It carries the signature of K Taylor 89( I presume the artist?).A rare figure in very good condition with no chips,flaws or blemishes.
