A Rare chrome & Enamel Badge for The Old Manor Hospital Salisbury.Originally the largest private asylum in England it was taken into the NHS,closing in 2003.This badge was issued for nurses undertaking their RMN training as was linked to the Larger Knowle Hospital in Fareham. It was issued in the 1960s and 70s and is in excellent condition.It has a buttonhole back fixing,as issued to Male nurses and is marked with the makers mark Vaughton Ltd,B'Ham.Height 35mm
