Northampton General Hospital, bronze nurses badge

The distinctive nurses pendant badge from Northampton General Hospital.The suspension bar bears the title Northampton General Hospital,and retains it's pin and clasp.The Badge is unusual in that it it is double sided with the castle motif from the arms of the Borough Council on the face and the rose of Northamptonshire on the reverse.Although these badges were often made from silver or white metal this one is in a bronze metal .Overall good condition with some minor surface wear.Named to back of bar K M Moore.
