A Silver and enamel nurses badge from the Coventry & Warwickshire Hospital Training School For Nurses.The design consists of a red enamel Greek cross with scroll infills at the corners.This is overlaid to the centre with a disc bearing the elephant and castle emblem of Coventry over a blue scroll with the motto Camera Principis-The Princes Chamber,a reference to the Black Prince who held property in the area.The title of the School of Nursing appears around this.Condition is very good with minimal enamel damage .Pin and clasp intact.Named to the rear for Mavis Parnell 1936-1939.Hallmarked silver for V&S,Vaughton & Son,Birmingham 1935.height 32mm
