A delightful badge in enamelled gold for the Derby Hospital Day of 1929.I believe that this was a day given over to activities to raise funds for the different Derby Hospitals prior to the NHS.
The different arms of the cross feature The Home of Rest,Royal Infirmary,Women's Hospital and Children's Hospital.The centre features the Buck within Palings of a Park,the emblem of Derby.
The rear is named to E Pickering.Makers marks are for Fattorini & Sons Bradford House Birmingham.It is hallmarked for 9 carat Gold for 1928/29.It weighs 10.2gms (It is being offered at a price below the scrap value)Height 32mm
