Epsom District Hospital Mid Surrey District School of Nursing

An uncommon nurses badge for Epsom District Hospital which I believe dates to the 1970s or 80s.This takes the form of a pendant badge consisting of a blue enamel bar bearing the Hospitals name with an badge with a cross which has a yellow horses head(to associate it with the nearby horse racing event) over blue and silver wavy lines.In very good condition with pin and clasp intact.Makers marks for Thomas Fattorini Regent street Birmingham
