St Lukes Hospital Guildford

A silver and enamel badge from what had been the Guildford Poor Law Infirmary before being renamed St Luke's Hospital under the new NHS in 1948.It bears Chester hallmarks for 1954.Makers Mark TJS for Thomas James Skelton of Birmingham.Some surface wear to front and minor scratches to the enamel but overall good condition for another scarce badge.Height 30mm
