Royal Sussex County Hospital Silver Nurse's For Merit Medal

A rare silver For Merit Medal for the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton. The medal itself takes the form of a silver disc bearing the six Martlets from the Sussex heraldic crest and the motto "Orando Laborando"-By work and prayer.This is suspended from a pin back bar bearing the letters RSCH. The pin and safety catch are intact. The rear of the medal is inscribed- For Merit M R Reeves 6.7.34. Several scratches to the back but face is good.It is marked silver and has makers marks for what appear to be B O ??.
