Severalls Mental Hospital Colchester,Silver Nurses badge

A nice example of the early pattern badge from Severalls Mental Hospital Colchester from the 1930s.The Hospital closed in the 1990s and has left derelict for many years,the site now being redeveloped for housing.
The badge is silver and enamel with the face in very good condition.The rear is engraved M G Evans 1929-1932. It bears hallmarks for 1930 and makers marks for WHH being William Hair Haseler. Height 30mm
