David Lewis Northern Hospital Liverpool Nurses Badge

This is the fob from a pendant Nurses badge dating to the 1930s.It has lost it's suspension bar(which was a plain bronze bar). The bronze medal features the Liver bird on a shield.The hospital opened in 1902 and finally closed in 1978.Despite the missing suspension bar and several surface scratches it is a good example of it's type.Engraved to the rear Vera Hopkin Oct 1937 416
