St Charles' Hospital Paddington Boxed Silver Nurse's badge

A rather nice Silver and enamel Pendant Nurses badge,in it's original box, for St Charles' Hospital Paddington.In Excellent condition,it looks to have hardly been worn at all.It comes in it's original but rather battered and faded 2inch square box.Originally called the St Marylebone Union Infirmary it was renamed St Charles' Hospital in 1930.It became part of the Paddington Group of Hospitals in 1948 and this badge dates to the 1950s,
In very good condition with pin and clasp intact,it is marked to R Perry June,1958.Silver hallmarks are for 1954 and makers mark AR&S for A Roden & Son of Hatton Garden.Height drop from suspension bar 60mm
