A base metal and enamel badge for the Sorrento Maternity Hospital,Moseley,Birmingham.It features a design of oak leaves and acorns depicting fertility and the motto Nil Absque Labore-Nothing without Labour ( not a reference to Maternity but rather the Adams family motto of the original owners of the house.)
Reasonable condition but some surface scratches to the enamel.Pin and safety clasp intact,named to K M Marshall.
