Royal Worcester Figurine,Nursing Sister World War 2 VAD

The last in a series of Royal Worcester Figurines featuring Nursing Sisters These were modelled by Ruth Van Ruyckevelt in the late 1950s and early 1960s in a limited edition. This example is 99/750 of the Red Cross VAD member .It features a Nurse wearing her Red cross uniform with white apron with red cross.She carries a bag .It is approximately 8 and a half inches inches tall with plinth
It comes in its original box with certificate,Condition is fair although it has sustained the following damage;The wrist has been broken and reglued.The strap to the bag has lost some of it's original paint,as pictured.Despite that a nice decorative item
