Charing Cross Hospital Nurses Medal
One of the most popular and distinctive of the London Hospitals Nurses badges is the medal of the Charing Cross Hospital,worn at the throat on its ribbon.This is a nice example which ,I believe dates to the 1960s.It consists of a Brass eight pointed Maltese cross with balls to the tips and Fleur de Lys at the corners.It is named to the rear B.M.Jarvis.With original patina in good condition with ribbon and suspension bar and pin.Medal Height 45mm Total Height with ribbon 135mm
