Warley Hospital Brentwood,Silver Nurses Badge

Originally opened as the Essex County Lunatic Asylum in 1852 and later renamed as Brentwood Mental Hospital,Warley Hospital finally closed in 1999.This silver and enamel badge is in excellent condition with pin,clasp and safety catch intact.Makers mark for Thomas Fattorini Regent Street Birmingham,hallmarked for 1975.
