Southend on Sea School of Nursing silver badge

A Silver and enamel Nurses Badge from the 1960s for the Southend on Sea School of Nursing. It features the Lily Emblem of St Mary,known as the Prittlewell Lilies they feature on many of the Hospitals badges.The enamel is in good condition with only minor surface scratches.The rear has lost its original pin and has a temporary repair of a safety pin added.There are traces of an original inscription to Faith Horthle O'Connor and a date which is undecipherable.It carries a hallmark for 1966 and makers marks for Thomas Fattorini.Height 30mm
