County Hospital Hertford Silver Nurses Badge

A small silver and enamel nurses badge for the County Hospital Hertford issued during the Second World War. Featuring the Hart of Hertfordshire standing on a green enamelled scroll bearing the Hospital name, it is 32mm high.In good condition but with a small firing fault to the enamel around the A of Hospital.The pin and clasp are intact and it is engraved to G A BUNN 1940-1942,it bears hallmarks for JD & Co( Joseph Daffern & Co Hatton Garden)for 1940.
