A silver nurses badge for the Nurses League of the Leicester Royal Infirmary,dating to the 1920s.It features the intertwined initials of the Hospital topped by a scroll with their motto Unity and Honour and the year of its foundation 1903.In good condition barring a couple of small chips to the enamel and several surface scratches. Pin and catch intact.Engraved to rear Annie Wootton. Makers mark for WOL( W O Lewis) and hallmarked for 1922.Height 40mm
