A Rare,heavy and ornate Chairman's badge for the Public Dental Service Association of Great Britain.
The Public Dental Service Association was instituted in 1923 following the Dentists Act of 1921. The aim of the Association was to look after the interests of those concerned with dental benefit treatment. The PDSA was finally amalgamated with the BDA on 1st January 1950 following the start of the National Health Service.
A Heavy silver gilt badge with enamel in pristine condition.It is engraved Chairman 1938-39 with makers marks D&D.
