St Peter's Hospital LondonCounty Council Silver Nurses badge

Another of these sought after LCC Silver & enamel badges from the 1930s.This is for St Peters Hospital,Fulbourne Street Whitechapel,which had been the Whitechapel Union Infirmary.
The badge features the LCC crest upon a silver roundel within a blue enamelled cross.Unlike many of these badges the enamel remains intact however there are a number of surface scratches as pictured.The pin and safety catch are intact and the badge carries hallmarks for 1931 and makers marks for Fattorini & Sons,Scratched into the rear of the badge I can just make out M A Thoms,presumably the recipient.Height 30mm
