Princess Christian's Army Nursing Service Reserve
A Large and heavy Silver(not marked as such)Badge for the Princess Christian's Army Nursing Service Reserve formed in March 1897.It's members,who worked as Nurses in civilian Hospitals,were to be mobilised in times of conflict to staff the Army's Hospitals.Their major debut was in the 2nd Boer War in South Africa where many served bravely.I can recommend the site;

This badge has the issue number 623 which was issued to to Sister Sarah Alice Claridge. She trained at Birmingham General Hospital and enlisted on June 19th 1900,going on to serve at No 14 General Hospital,Newcastle.She was awarded the QSA medal(unfortunately not in my possession)
Condition good but with a number of dings to the face,as pictured.A large badge being some 50mm high
