County of Essex District Nurse/GNC pair of badges

A Brass and enamel badge for the County of Essex District Nursing Service along with a chrome and enamel General Nursing Council for England & Wales.The District Nurse badge features the three
Saxon seaxes ,which resemble Scimitars,of the Essex crest.In good overall condition,there is however minor enamel loss to the the R of Nurse.The badge has a pin back fixing as well as suspension ring.Unmarked to the rear.Height 42mm
The GNC Badge is in good condition with pin and safety chain intact.Marked to the rear for R.Davies SRN 430546 30.11.70.Height 28mm
