Mill Road Maternity Hospital Liverpool Silver Nurses Badge

A nice silver and enamel Nurses badge from the Mill Road Maternity Hospital.Apparently the badge was designed by Dr T McKendrick,the consultant Paediatrician for the Hospital and the first badges were awarded in May 1964.This badge is in good condition with no damage to the enamel,original pin and clasp intact.The badge is engraved to B.A.Ryan and is hallmarked for M&B (Marples & Beasley)and the year letter S for 1967.Height 32mm
