One of two badges from the Western Ophthalmic Hospital,Marylebone Road,London.This first being awarded for the SRN form of ophthalmic training.In 1948 the Hospital became part of the St Mary's Hospital Paddington Teaching group.
The Octagonal badge in blue enamel on silver features a young girl holding a lamp and dates to the 1970s.In very good condition with only slight worn area to enamel above L of Ophthalmic.Marked to rear Silver,pin and clasp in good condition.Height 27mm
