A nice brass and enamel nurses badge from Maryfield Hospital Dundee.Originally the Eastern Hospital it served as the Poor Law Infirmary for Dundee.It closed in the 1970s and this badge dates to the 1960s.Featuring the arms of the burgh of Dundee with the motto Dei Donum-God's Gift and Prudentia Et Candore-With Thought and Purity
In good overall condition despite some damage to the enamel at the edge near Dundee.Pin Clasp and safety roller catch all intact.
