A nice enamelled nurses badge from the King Edward Memorial Hospital Ealing.The new hospital opened in 1911,a year after the death of King Edward VII,for whom it was named, and finally closed in 1979. This enamelled badge dates to the 1960s.In very good condition with no damage to the enamel with pin and clasp intact.Makers mark for Marples & Beasley Birmingham.height 42mm
