Friern Group Hospitals Silver Nurses Badge

A rare silver nurses badge for the Friern Group of Hospitals which included the Mental Hospital at Colney Hatch.
It's design features a six pointed star upon which is a flaming torch and the motto Consolari Semper-Always be of Comfort.
It bears a silver hallmark for Fattorini & Sons and year letter for 1959.Height 32mm
