A Brass and enamel nurses badge from the New Southgate School of Nursing in London dating to the 1970s.The School for Psychiatric Nursing was based at Friern Hospital and the group included Halliwick Hospital,Whittington Hospital and Marlborough Day Hospital.The design of the badge features the cupola of the original Colney Hatch Asylum(now a luxury gated community).Condition good but with some surface scratches.Pin and clasp intact.Unmarked to rear.Height 32mm
