Another of these popular LCC Silver & enamel badges from the 1930s.This is for St Giles Hospital,which was located atHavil Street Camberwell. It had originally been the Camberwell Workhouse Infirmary,See ;http://ezitis.myzen.co.uk/stgiles.html
The badge features the LCC crest upon a silver roundel within a blue enamelled cross.Llke many of these badges the enamel has suffered damage to the crest although the cross is good .The pin and safety catch are intact and the badge carries hallmarks for 1931 and makers marks for Fattorini & Sons.Height 30mm
