A Lovely crisp and heavy silver prize medal from the Hackney Hospital from the 1920's.It features the Coats of Arms of the Metropolitan Borough of Hackney and also Stoke Newington.To the rear ,within a wreath,is engraved Presented To Mabel Parsons Probationer Nurse 1928.It bears worn hallmarks for Fattorini & Sons,Birmingham 1927.Some surface scratches but generally good condition.Height 43mm
