A Silver Nurses badge from the Chase Farm County Hospital.This was originally built as the Orphanage for Enfield Workhouse;see http://ezitis.myzen.co.uk/chasefarm.html

It features the Middlesex crest of three Seaxes beneath a crown,this overlays a cross over a number of wreaths.A Clasped belt to the rim bears the Hospital title.
In good condition with original pin and clasp.Engraved for B J Dobson March 1947 marked silver.Height 33mm
