A white metal and enamelled badge from the St Giles Hospital,Camberwell.Originally the Camberwell Workhouse Infirmary it was renamed St Giles in 1948.This badge features The crest of a wounded hart and abbot's crosier representing St. Giles, patron saint of Camberwell, to whom the parish church is dedicated.
In very good condition with enamel good although there is a small area of damage between the T &A of Hospital.Pin and clasp with safety roller catch all good.Unmarked to rear,Height 26mm
