Originally intended to provide care for the German speaking immigrants of the area it finally closed in 1987.The central design features the Hackney tower,The remains of the 13th century St Augustines church.This badge is from the 1950s when the hospital came under the Hackney Group No 6 Hospital Management Committee.In a good condition with the pin and safety roller catch clasp in good condition.Height 31mm
