Southend District School of Nursing,Silver Nurses Badge

A silver and enamel nurses badge for the Southend District School of Nursing.Excellent in near mint condition,pin clasp and safety roller catch all good.This is marked to the rear to Soo Huah Lin May 1985,It bears hallmarks for M&B and Birmingham 1983.This appears to be a secondary badge awarded to this nurse as I am also listing a Southend/GNC pair to her.it seems likely that having trained as a SRN she later went on to further train as a Midwife or Mental nurse,and this is her badge for that training.height 34mm
