Portsmouth School of Midwifery,Silver midwives badge

A silver and enamel badge from the Portsmouth School of Midwifery.It features a stylised flying stork clutching a book of learning in it's beak.It was first awarded in February 1983 and replaces the earlier St Mary's Maternity Hospital badge also listed on my site.It is in excellent condition with pin ,clasp and safety roller catch all good.Makers marks for Thomas Fattorini Regent Street Birmingham.Hallmarks for 1982 Height 26mm Width 41mm
