A pair of silver badges awarded to the same nurse for her training at Bristol General Hospital in the 1930s.The first is the silver and enamel hospital badge of Bristol General Hospital.This features the arms of Bristol with the motto Virtue Et Industria- By Virtue and Industry.Condition is very good ,pin and clasp intact.Engraved to the rear W.M.Tanner 1930-33 Hallmarked for Vaughton and Sons Birmingham 1931.Height 30mm
The accompanying badge is a silver General Nursing Council for England and Wales badge ,engraved to the rear for W.M.Tanner SRN 68853 26.3.33.Condition is very good with pin and clasp good and silver safety chain in situ.Height 28mm
