A rare brass and enamel badge for Almeric Paget's Military Massage Corps from the First World War.Set up and privately funded at the outset of the war by Almeric Paget,it proved very successful and was expanded in December 1915 and took on this title.This uniform badge was used between 1916 and the end of 1918 after which time it became the Military Massage Service.The design features pair of red wings with a central red cross within a blue enamel disc topped with the initials APMMC.Pin and clasp good .Unmarked to rear,
