Manor Hospital Management Committee,Nurses Badge

The Manor Hospital Management Committee badge is in chrome and enamel and features a quartered shield bearing four symbols associated with the area including the epsom Downs racecourse.In moderate condition with some surface scratches and one or two chips.Pin is an improvised replacement,clasp and safety roller catch both good.Unmarked to rear.Height 28mm
This was a learning disabilities hospital,part of the "Epsom Cluster"which eventually closed in 1996.
