Fulham Infirmary,Silver Nurses "Penny " Medal
Originally the Fulham Workhouse Infirmary,it was renamed Fulham Hospital in 1925,so this predates that change.The hospital finally closed in 1973 when the Charing Cross Hospital was relocated to the Fulham site.
This large silver medal features the Madonna & Infant and the motto Famam Extendere Factis- Extend Reputation Through Deeds. The medal is missing it's suspension bar but is in very good overall condition.Hallmarked for London 1923,T&S (Turner & Simpson) .Height 38mm
