A silver and enamel Nurses badge from the Whittingham Hospital in Manchester.It features a central Red Rose of Lancashire with a scroll below it bearing the motto Fide Et Fortitudine-Faith and Courage.In very good condition barring some minor enamel loss to the top of the Whittingham lettering and some chipping to the red enamel of the arms.Pin and clasp good.Makers mark for Thomas Fattorini Regent Street Birmingham,Hallmarks for Birmingham 1959.Height 32mm
