Still one of the most distinctive of the London Hospitals Nurses badges is the medal of the Charing Cross Hospital,worn at the throat on its ribbon.This is a very clean example consisting of a Brass eight pointed Maltese cross with balls to the tips,all present and Fleur de Lys at the corners.It is named to the rear Christine K Campbell.With original silk ribbon in very good condition .Height with ribbon 127mm,height of medal and suspension ring 52mm.A popular piece of Nursing History
