County Hospital Doddington,Nurses badge

A chrome metal and enamel nurses badge from the County Hospital Doddington, in March,Cambridgeshire.It features the blue and white wavy lines reflecting the county's waterways,above the Wake knot representing Hereward the wake.The Hospital title is in a red enamel band to the rim.The Hospital,based in the former workhouse ,was still an approved training school for Nurses in 1972 and I believe this badge may date to around that time.Height 29mm
