A large silver Nurses pendant Badge from the East Suffolk Hospital at Ipswich.It consists of a large plain silver Maltese Cross(35mm across),this being suspended from a silver pin back suspension brooch(67mm long)bearing the title East Suffolk Hospital.Good condition overall although there are a number of surface scratches.Pin and clasp good.Engraved to the rear for Dorothy Payne 1930-33.Hallmarks for JWT ( J W Tiptaft & Son Ltd) Birmingham 1933.Overall height 47mm
