The Prince of Wales's General Hospital Tottenham, Nurses Large Cape Badge

An impressively Large composite badge for the Prince of Wales's General Hospital in Tottenham.This was,apparently issued to be worn on the Nurses Capes.It consists of a Gold painted convex disc with a red cross and title in maroon enamel.An enamelled Prince of Wales's feathers are applied in relief ,topped with an enamelled dove.Some signs of wear in places but generally retains most of it's original finish.A lug back fixing.Makers mark for Fattorini & Son Bradford.Height 51mm

A nice item,seldom seen nowadays.I am also listing a standard size version of this badge separately.I include an image at 4 for comparison.
