A scarce Silver and enamel Nurses badge for the Bolingbroke Hospital on Wandsworth Common.An oval Badge with a central motif of a coat of arms of Canon John Erskine Clarke, who was vicar of St Mary’s Church, Battersea and a founder of the Bolingbroke Hospital.It also bears the motto Fortiter Ubique-Ever Courageous.In ver good condition barring some surface scratches.Pin and clasp good.Engraved to E Branford1933-1936.Hallmarked for Thomas Fattorini,Birmingham 1932.Height 39mm
