Kent & Sussex Hospital Tunbridge Wells,Silver Nurses badge

A scarce silver and enamel Nurses badge from the Kent & Sussex Hospital Tunbridge Wells.It bears a central motif of the coat of arms of Royal Tunbridge Wells with the motto Do Well,Doubt Not.On either side of this are the emblems for Kent and Sussex. There is some slight enamel loss to the base of the Kent shield and to the K of Kent in the Title.It has been over polished in the past leading to rubbing in places and some loss of detail.Pin and clasp are intact and a silver safety chain in attached.It is named to Edith L Pryer May 15th 1932 May 1935,although this is very worn.Hallmarked for AF Anthony Fattorini Birmingham 1934.Height 31mm
