A large bronze Nurses badge from the United Manchester Hospitals,for Enrolled Nurse training.It consists of a five petalled Rose (of Lancashire) with a central design of three lamps of Learning(I believe representing the three Manchester Hospitals within the group).The title United Manchester Hospitals is on a band around this.The rear is engraved for Mary Patricia Rourke Enrolled Nurse 19.She is entered on the Roll as number 81438 and listed as having trained at the Royal Infirmary Manchester,component training with Royal Eye Hospital,Manchester,Barnes Hospital Cheadle,and St Mary's Hospital for Women And Children,Manchester.
Condition good and whilst pin and clasp are present it is missing it's safety roller catch.Height 39mm
