Connaught Hospital,Walthamstow,Nurses badge

A bronze Nurses badge from the Connaught Hospital in Walthamstow.Earlier known as the Leyton,Walthamstow and Wanstead Hospital it was renamed in 1928 after the Duchess of Connaught who had been a patron of the Hospital.The Hospital finally closed in 1977.
The badge consists of the intertwined letters C & H in a voided centre beneath a crown,with the title around the rim.Condition good with pin and clasp present but missing the Safety roller catch.Unmarked to rear.Height 40mm
