Midland Nursing Association of Otology

A bronze metal and enamel badge for the Midland Nursing Association of Otology, in it's original box.Founded in 1952 at Worcester Royal Infirmary by the SRNs who had gained the certificate in Otology nursing.It was issued to nurses working in Hospitals in Birmingham,Nottingham,Shrewsbury and Wolverhampton. Exams were held at QE Hospital Birmingham .
The badge features a red Geneva cross with a serpent wrapped around it.There is a Lamp of Learning at the base and the title is on a red band around the edge.
Good overall condition with minimal wear to the enamel.Pin and clasp good.In it's original green cardboard box.Height 34mm
