A silver and enamel pendant badge for the The National Hospital in Queens Square London,Founded in 1860.In 1926 the Hospital was renamed the National Hospital for the Relief and Cure of Diseases of the Nervous System including Paralysis and Epilepsy.
This silver and enamel badge consists of an ornate fob medal bearing the national emblems of Rose ,Thistle and Shamrock of England,Scotland & Ireland to the centre.This is suspended from an ornate pin back suspension bar.Condition good,pin and clasp intact.Engraved to rear 16.5.85 J Kirkman. Silver hallmarks for Toye & Spencer Birmingham 1968.Height 53mm
